LAS VEGAS, NV – This afternoon the Nevada Environmental Justice Coalition will host elected officials to discuss what is on the agenda this 2023 Legislative Session in regards to securing clean air and water for Nevada.
The Legislators will hear the stories of Nevadans that are being directly affected by climate change. State Senator Edgar Flores will be one of the panelists alongside Vince Saavedra from the Southern NV Building Trades, Erika Castro from PLAN, Assemblywoman Lesley Cohen and LV City Councilwoman Olivia Diaz to provide information and answer questions the public might have about getting involved. Participants will also learn how to get involved to support environmental issues and bills during the Legislative session.
