Las Vegas (KSNV) — As record-breaking heat waves continue to sweep across the nation, Nevada organizations are spearheading efforts during Heat Week to demand urgent federal protections for workers exposed to extreme temperatures.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – When temperatures hit the triple digits, the heat isn’t just uncomfortable – it’s dangerous.

Nevadans are feeling the effects of extreme heat in their lives and on their wallets, a newly published UNLV report reveals.
